Bill Sprunger is a multi-talented musician and educator. As a founder member of the Cold Creek Band, he brings a wealth of musical experience and creativity to the group. Bill’s passion for music was first ignited in 1995, when he was inspired by Alison Krauss. He has been playing ever since and is an accomplished guitarist, fiddler, and mandolin player.
A lifelong musician, Bill’s love for music began in 1995 when he was inspired by the legendary Alison Krauss. Since then, he has honed his craft and become an expert on several instruments, including guitar, fiddle, and mandolin. He is always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of his playing, bringing a unique energy and perspective to Cold Creek’s music.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Bill is also a dedicated teacher. His passion for education and desire to make a positive impact in the lives of his students is evident in everything he does. including teaching them all the guitar! When he’s not in the classroom, he can often be found writing songs for Cold Creek, drawing on his experiences and observations to create meaningful and thought-provoking lyrics.
Outside of music and teaching, Bill is a devoted husband and family man. He and his wife Shauna reside in Lehi, Utah, where they enjoy spending time with their loved ones and exploring the great outdoors.
