Andrea Banner

Andrea Banner

Singer, Songwriter, Bassist, Mandolin Player
Andrea is originally from Arkansas where she was grew up with bluegrass music. She picks up the bass and sings lead and harmony vocals for Cold Creek. Andrea is also an amazing songwriter, and was featured in Tim O’Brien Songwriters’ Showcase. Andre lives in Highland, Utah with her husband Justin and her two sons.
Bill Sprunger

Bill Sprunger

Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Mandolin and Fiddler Player
Bill has been playing since 1995, when he was first inspired by Alison Krauss. He picks his guitar and sings for Cold Creek, but he is also an instrument champion on fiddle and mandolin. Bill writes many of the band’s songs. Bill is an school teacher. He and his wife Shauna live in Lehi, Utah.
Blaine Nelson

Blaine Nelson

Banjo Player
Blaine is one of the finest 5 string banjo players in the state. His outstanding skills earned him the Utah State banjo champion. His unique and flawless banjo picking drive the sound of Cold Creek. He has two children and lives with his wife in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Craig Miner

Craig Miner

Singer, Guitarist, Banjo and Mandolin Player
Craig Miner has been a professional musician since he was eleven. He specializes in banjo, guitar, and mandolin, although he plays just about anything that can make a sound. Craig is a founding member of “Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand”, and he has traveled the world playing music.
Jake Workman

Jake Workman

Singer, Guitarist, Mandolin and Banjo Player
Jake was the IBMA Bluegrass Guitar Player of the Year in 2020. He began playing with Cold Creek and was an instant sensation. He is one of the best pickers in the country and tours with Ricky Skaggs. He joins Cold Creek as a guest artist often. He lives in Central Utah with his wife.
Rob Ricks

Rob Ricks

Singer, Fiddle Player
Rob has fiddled professionally for 20 years as a band member and studio musician. He was a founding member String Fever and Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband. He has won competitions including the Telluride Fiddle Contest and the Telluride Band Contest. He currently lives in Salt Lake with his wife Cortney and their children.

The members of Cold Creek have known and played with each other for over a decade. Coming from across the country, these bluegrass musicians bring a unique set of talent and experience to make Cold Creek special. They have performed across the west, winning numerous awards, and continue to put on excellent performances. They hail from award winning bands Mckenzie Bridge (Winner of the National Bluegrass Playoffs), String Fever, and Gift Horse.
